website design – branding – digital marketing – print marketing – social media marketing – video marketing

Overview

Glendower Holiday Park had no marketing presence and no leads. We created the business’s brand and website, which we then promoted using print and digital marketing techniques. Glendower now enjoys a steady stream of rental and sales enquiries.

The Challenge

After their purchase, Glendower’s owners had a holiday park surrounded by mountains in a beautiful area of waterfalls, lakes and ancient castles. But they lacked two crucial things: guests and holiday home buyers.

Our Solution

Branding

Our first task was to create a brand for Glendower that would communicate the park’s unique appeal as a holiday destination.

We designed the logo to highlight the park’s mountain views and woodland surroundings.

The tagline we devised,

A holiday haven among the mountains

Reinforces the selling points that the logo communicates.

Website

With the brand in place, it was time to build Glendower a digital ‘shop window’ and decorate it with an enticing display of the park, its stock, and its surrounding area’s most attractive features and attractions.

Glendowerholidaypark.co.uk is optimised to appear in online search engine results and adapts to whatever device it is viewed on. The website’s images, text and layout are designed to arouse holiday excitement and encourage visitors to make enquires.

Content marketing

Web users and Google both prefer websites that regularly publish new, engaging digital content. To help draw people to the Glendower website and make it more exciting, we created and added a bird’s-eye-view drone footage video of the park and continue to write articles then upload them onto its blog page.

Print marketing

As many of Glendower’s potential guests and buyers are older people, print marketing is an important means of spreading awareness of the park. We created a brochure that highlights Glendower’s most attractive features and a roadside entrance sign that advertises the park to passers-by and gives arriving guests a professional welcome.

Social media

Huge numbers of people like to spend time on social media. This makes social platforms great places to find leads. We created a Facebook account for Glendower on which we publish two posts every week. These posts promote the park, its holiday cottage and the static caravans for sale, and entice people to visit the website to find out more or get in touch.

Achievements

Website visitor stats

Just over half a year since its launch, the Glendower website now attracts 200 unique monthly visitors and 670 page views. These numbers increase every month.

Leads

The result of the website’s growing visitor and page view stats is more and more leads for the park owners to convert into guests and holiday homeowners.

What Glendower Say

My family and I had just entered the holiday park sector. We had no brand, no website, and no marketing experience, and we needed leads quickly.

After getting to know our business, Beacon created our logo and website then spread awareness of our park using print and digital marketing methods.

We now have a fantastic modern website which creates more and more leads every month and have sold two holiday homes as a direct result.

Working with the Beacon team has been a pleasure. We intend to continue working with them for the foreseeable future.
